Motorized Glass Roof Tops Mansion Courtyard
Open-air courtyard becomes enclosed at the touch of a button.
THE CHALLENGE
The owners of this historic L.A. area mansion weren’t using the pool in their expansive interior courtyard as much as they’d hoped. They needed a roof, worthy of the architecture, to make the courtyard more of an all-weather space.
ROLLAMATIC SOLUTION
A straightforward bi-parting design would add a stunning topper without competing with the dramatic, columned architecture of the courtyard. The low-e glazing helps decrease heat and humidity buildup to keep the area cool year round.
