A terraced landscape provided the perfect setting for a large spa and lap pool in Portola Valley, California. But what would make the space more entertainment-ready, even in cool mountain weather? The homeowners already had a Rollamatic over a bedroom in the main house and wondered what would be possible over the pool.

ROLLAMATIC SOLUTION

We built five, custom-fit retractable skylights to match the design of the house and cover the length of the pools. The skylights are connected to a Lutron smart home system and can be easily opened for daytime swimming and slowly closed as the air cools around evening parties.
